Privacy Policy
On this page
This policy explains how personal data is handled on drdinu.ro. It concerns the website only. Personal data processed in the course of medical care is governed separately by the policies of the clinic or hospital where the consultation takes place.
Who is responsible
The controller for this website is Dr. Valentin Dinu, Bucharest, Romania. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to transplantcornee@gmail.com.
What this website collects
This is a static website. It has no contact form, no comment section, no user accounts and no newsletter. No personal data is collected from you directly, and nothing you do here is stored on our side.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking scripts. Nothing is stored in your browser, and your visit is not profiled or measured.
Server logs
The site is served by a hosting provider that, like all web hosts, records technical request data — including IP address, date and time of the request, the page requested, and browser and operating system information. These logs exist to deliver the site reliably and to protect it against attack and abuse.
- Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the security and availability of the website.
- Retention: logs are retained by the hosting provider for a short period and are not used to identify individual visitors.
Embedded and external content
Pages in the surgical video section may include video embedded from an external platform. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that platform’s own site: the provider may set cookies, collect technical data and track your interaction with the embedded content, particularly if you have an account with them and are logged in. Their privacy policy applies to that processing.
This site also links to external websites — clinics, journals, professional bodies. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and this one does not cover them.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to request access to your personal data, correction, erasure, restriction of processing, and to object to processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP.
Because this website does not collect or store personal data about visitors, in practice there is normally nothing held here to access or erase. Requests concerning your medical records should be addressed to the clinic or hospital that holds them.
Changes to this policy
If the site later adds a contact form, appointment booking or analytics, this policy will be updated before that change goes live.
